Valves are conform to BS EN 593 with
internal body resilient lining suitable for
waterworks purposes.
Advantages &
Technical Features
1. Designed for Bi-directional flow, smooth

during opening & closing.
2. Low head loss and greatly discharged
characteristics.
3. It will provide positive tight shut off
at the fully closed position (90 degrees)
but also
at an angular tightness of 5
degrees off the fully closed position.
4. Eliminates the use of gaskets between the
valve and adjoining pipe flanges.

TVT
twin door wafer check valve is an improved
version of the conventional swing check and
the single disc is split in two. By
splitting the disc in two, the mass of the
single disc is greatly reduced and so is the
travel distance from open to shut off
position. Further improvement results with
torsion springs forcing the double disc to
shut off with minimal flow reversal. This
shut off characteristic greatly minimizes
the slam potential as compared to the
conventional swing check.

each of the pair valve plates, which close the plates quickly and automatically.

medium from flowing back and eliminates

flanges with gaskets using only one set of
flange
studs.

installation in restricted spaces not
possible with
conventional flanged check
valves.
